So Sue had asked us to do a bit of research on a few toppings for this project. We had to dig in on Medical Rooms in nursing homes.
One might ask what is a Medical room? Well, the medical room is a room where a patient gets taken into when they injured or taken ill on the premises can be taken for first aid & to await the arrival of professional emergency medical services. ( For example in schools, factories, airports, etc. )

- Include an examination or medical couch with waterproof protection and clean pillows and blankets, (a paper couch roll may be used that is changed between casualties), and a chair
- Have adequate heating, ventilation, and lighting and be accessible and available at all times
- Be positioned near to access for transport to the hospital
- Have a telephone and a notice displaying the names, telephone numbers, and locations of First Aiders
- Have a sink with hot and cold running water
- Have drinking water with disposable cups
- Have soap and paper towels
- Include a store for first-aid materials
- Have foot-operated refuse containers, lined with disposable yellow clinical waste bags, or a container suitable for the safe disposal of clinical waste
- Include a record book for recording incidents attended by a first-aider or appointed person.
